Awareness campaign for Earth Day celebration. The EU will ban the sale of plastic disposables from 2021 but we can start now not to use disposable materials with such a negative impact on our planet. The cotton swabs were invented in 1923, initially made of wood, only in 1963 they began to sell plastic swabs. In 1945 at the end of World War II, American manufacturers needed a new consumer market, at which point they began manufacturing many plastic products in search of a variety of goods at low prices. The drinking straws were patented in 1888. In 1939 they gained the ability to fold and the mass production of paper straws began. It was only in 1960 that large-scale plastic straws were sold.
